A little more about us...
Chef Stan discovered his love for the Culinary Arts in college. He worked in a kitchen to support himself while finishing an Engineering degree. Cooking quickly became a passion because Chef Stan loved seeing the happiness his food helped bring to people as they ate and enjoyed each other’s company.
After several years in the business, Chef Stan found working in restaurants too impersonal. He opened a catering business so he could get back to offering that personal touch to his customers. From that first kitchen in Wyandotte, MI, Frank-N-Dean’s Catering built a reputation for providing exceptional service, friendly staff, and of course delicious food.
Frank N Dean’s Catering now operates two kitchens in Southeast Michigan. In addition to our event catering kitchens, we are proud partners with Our Lady Scapular in Wyandotte MI.
Why the Name Frank N Dean's?
Many people ask where we got the name Frank N Dean’s. It came from a family recipe.
1) Take one part Frankie, Chef Stan’s wife
2) Mix in two parts Dean, their eldest son and Chef Stan’s middle name
3) Add a dash of crooners, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin
4) Let chill
